Nine Volt Leap

Nine volt leap is a professional recording studio based in Melksham, Wiltshire ran by Dominic Bailey-Clay. With great transport links from Bath, Bristol and the surrounding towns to Melksham.

We have a large, acoustically treated live room which enables bands to be able to play together in the same room. With other rooms next to the live room we can use these to separate the amps to the drums, making it possible to record live but with zero noise bleed.

My aim is to meet the demands of all clients by working closely with them before the session, during the session and after the session. Discussing what they are after, whether it be just engineering the session, or going full producer and helping develop the songs, finding out what sound they are looking for and making that come to light.
